4th of July decor

Hey guys! I can’t believe that it’s already July! Where has 2016 gone?? Oh well, that much closer to Christmas, right?! lol jk  I love decorating for Independence day. I usually leave my 4th of July decor up all summer long.  I wanted to keep the dining table decor neutral. I was surprised to see how much faux plant and boxwood I have collected over the last few months. 4thofjuly (1)

I just love the blue pin stripe table runner that I found at TJ Maxx. After I finally got all of the pots and candle sticks arranged to my liking, I just added a couple small flags to the flower pots. Most of the plants were found at hobby lobby or Michaels. They were only a couple bucks each after coupons/sales. Most of the pots are Rae Dunn Clay. You can find a lot of her pieces at TjMaxx, Marshalls and Homegoods for pretty cheap! You can also buy her collection from boutiques. I just love everything Rae Dunn. I have a china hutch full of her pieces! lol

I wanted to keep the americana theme simple this year. I usually add flags in every room or where ever I can find an empty space lol. This cute little burlap flag banner is from Target! All the more reasons why I love that store. I am still rearranging the mantle. I am sure it will look completely different by the time 4th of July gets here… Oh well. lol

I made a few changes to our front porch. I whipped up this wooden flag a couple years ago out of scrap wood. I found it earlier this week in the back of the garage covered in dust. Score!! It’s funny the things you forget you have when you are constantly moving. Since we leave on base, I used a command strip to hang the flag.  Thank you for stopping by! I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July weekend, and remember why we are celebrating. Thank you to the men and woman of the past, present and future for sacrificing for our independence.  Looking for more 4th of July decor. Check out my pinterest board HERE
