Fall Front Porch

I am just loving the holiday season even more this year. Jeff is going to be stateside for all of the holidays and we are all very grateful. It’s the middle of September, here in Wyoming, and it hasn’t snowed yet!! Woo-Hoo lol. Trust me the weather is crazy here and it will snow soon. Boo! So before it does I needed to make sure all of our decorations were up before the cold fronts came thru.

I wanted to keep the spending to a minimum. Everything I used was found in my garage or craft room. It’s crazy what you have lying around your house.

We live on base so I made sure I used command strips to hang everything. Command strips can be found at any store. When decorating I want everything to look welcoming and pretty, but also it needs to be practical. Like I mentioned before Wyoming gets crazy weather, so I wanted to make sure everything was under the porch. Everything on my porch was either found in my house or thrift stores. I have been going thrifting for a while collecting a bunch of goodies.

I just love this little wagon. The wheels wobble and the tire tread is worn off, but it has the perfect amount of rust and worn down with lots of love. Aren’t those white pumpkins adorable?? I found them at Michaels craft store. I love these plastic (?) pumpkins. We have antelope on base and they eat real pumpkins… isn’t Wyoming fun? lol Plus I can reuse the same pumpkins each year! Score!

I love adding colorful goodies in unexpected places. The vintage mailbox was my favorite little find. It adds so much character to our front porch. I still need to add mums to add more color. The Pumpkins, Apples and Hayrides is my very DIY. Not because it was free, but I did it with family. I love making and creating with friends and family.

Thank you for stopping by and reading about our fall porch decor. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing your fun Fall DIY. Soon I will be adding a tutorial on my no sew burlap pillow. So stay tuned! =)
